The Schlappoltsee is located at 1800 meters above sea level and it is just a 20-minute walk from the midstation of the Fellhorn gondola. During the summer, the lake has a lovely color and you can enjoy a unique view across the lake into the Allgäu’s valleys. The nature reserve Schlappoltkopf is still home to the chamois and the beautiful gentian.
